Ava’s Way 2021

Ava had a heart of gold and giving was her natural-born nature. We give back to honor her legacy and remember her short but beautiful life. Today is the final day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. I surpassed my Great Cycle Challenge 100-mile goal and raised over $700. Thank you to all Ava’s Way supporters who donate throughout the year to the causes that are near and dear to our hearts!

Because childhood cancer ravaged our lives, awareness is all day every day. This is why we find things that empower us to keep fighting the fight for a cure!

This year we shaved heads for St Baldrick’s in our backyard. Team Ava’s Way raised $11,912. The virtual Bondurant event raised nearly $20,000. Thank you!!

In July we ran a 5k for Brain Cancer. Ava’s Way raised $221 for Head For The Cure and had fun getting fit! Boom!
Ava’s Birthday Blood Drive was a great success with 141 lives sustained! That gives a 5 year total of 1356 lives sustained! Yes!!

We also collect pantry items for the Ronald McDonald House. There was a big need and people came forward in a beautiful way! Be still my heart!!

Bondurant students once again honored Ava’s memory with Sparkles for Ava. The sea of pink, purple, and gold is always a magnificent sight to behold. It certainly does the heart good! So Grateful!!
