Sharing…
The opportunity to share a story and have an audience is a humbling honor. The world is full of opportunities and within each; there is potential for a great story.
Some stories are happily ever after dream come true stories. While other stories come from horrible nightmares, you must fight to survive. Even in the worst of circumstances, there is a story, a story that might just get someone through the darkest pages in their book.
Ava’s way is about finding the best of each day, one day at a time. No matter how many layers must be peeled away or how fast the avalanche of doubt comes crashing down, there is a way.
Through the eyes of my child, I have witnessed the discovery of blessings on the darkest days. I have seen triumph when there was nothing left. I viewed great strength come from the weakest body. Even though she was just a small child, she taught me that true strength comes from the heart. The body is just a vessel carrying the power of love, faith, and will.
The point of this story is if something touches your heart speak up. Always let your true colors shine and never bury your uniqueness.
Public speaking makes me stir crazy and anxious, but a much greater purpose drives me to speak and write. Last week I had the opportunity to talk about Ava’s Way and I am excited to share it with you here. Megan Reuther and the team at WHOTV 13 did a beautiful job putting this together.
As you go about your day remember uncomfortable circumstances should be treated as light. If you cover it up, you will always be in the dark. If you let it shine your heart will glow. Covet the opportunity to share, because within lies the potential for the greatest story of all time. By being uncomfortable, you grow and growth makes the world go round. Your story is genuine and whether your audience is one or one million be kind, be real, be proud.
