Results of Ava’s Birthday Blood Drive

For the past two years, I have been honored to witness the selflessness of heroes giving blood in Ava’s honor.

Look at those numbers!! Wow, just wow that will make the dusty eye syndrome kick in big time!!

I witnessed passion, determination, power, and strength.
I witnessed the ultimate giving of oneself, a part of a person’s physical being to save another’s life.
I witnessed compassion, teamwork, and the greatest of all … love.
You can’t get that anywhere else. Nowhere in the world will you witness 237 lives saved in half a day.
Not like this day anyway.
There was a sea of pink, sparkles, and sweets to celebrate.
No trophy will ever be big enough, or sticker bright enough to encompass the feeling of this day and for that, I am forever grateful!
